Elder Dan Jones, Area Authority for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has encouraged members of the church to reach out and volunteer during Compassionate Houston Week April 10 – 16. Below are a few events still seeking volunteers in the Katy/nearby area. We invite you to volunteer for one of the events as we serve and help strengthen individuals and our community. Fri. Apr 15, 2pm- 4pm and Sat. Apr 16, 9 am-11am Sort food donations for Katy Christian Ministries, age 12 and older preferred, volunteers 12 – 13 years old need an adult to accompany them.
