The #LightTheWorld campaign is a wonderful way to learn more about our Savior, share our Savior’s love through service and sharing our testimony of Him with friends and neighors. What a wonderful way to focus on this Christmas season.
Starting on December 1st, there will be 25 ways over 25 days to learn and become more like our Savior (Go to Mormon.org to follow each day or go to Mormon.org/download to download the advent calendar). December 1st the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Worldwide Day of Service to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Church’s welfare program. Everyone is encouraged to serve in a small and simple way to share the Light of Christ and #LightTheWorld.
Here are some ideas for families and individuals to provide great acts of service in the Katy area on December 1st or throughout the Christmas season. Please contact your Ward Community Service Specialist if you have any questions.
